Reply to an RFQ
How to reply to an RFQ:
When a buyer submits an RFQ, you will receive an email notification for the new RFQ, with a link to the Datum Source Platform
Click "View & Respond to RFQ". This will bring you to the specific RFQ page.
On the RFQ page, you will see details about the RFQ including a summary, buyer information, the requested response date, & part information including all relevant files.
You will also see a "Messages" button in the top-right corner of the page, which will provide a secure messaging thread between your team, and the buyer's team, in the context of the RFQ.
Click on any part under the "Parts & Files" section to view additional information about the part, including all relevant files.
Download all part files individually (or bulk download all RFQ files via the download icon at the top-right corner of the page)
Once you have prepared a quote, upload your quote under the "Shared Files" section on the left-side of the page.
Click "Submit" to notify the buyer that you have provided a quote file.
If you do not wish to quote a given RFQ, click the red "Decline" button at the top-right corner of the page to notify the buyer that you will not provide a quote for this RFQ.
