Refer to the visual representation below for an out line of the primary data and integration pathways between Manufacturo <> Datum.

Integration Details

The following integrations are available between Manufacturo and Datum. For further details or to discuss implementation, please contact [email protected].

  1. Parts Library Sync

Whenever a part is generated or updated in Manufacturo, its corresponding information is automatically sync’d to Datum Source. This eliminates the need for requesters to manually create parts in Datum, and instead, simply search for specific part numbers or names and add them into requests.\

Parts automatically added in Datum via this integration will have an “External” flag on the part to indicate the part was created via automation. Notably, the part name, number, and revision fields for External parts are read only and can not be edited by users directly in Datum.

  2. Supplier Sync

When a suppliers is created in Datum, the supplier information is not automatically sync’d to Manufacturo. Instead suppliers are created in conjunction with a new purchase order (outlined below).\

  3. Purchase Orders & Line Items

This integration also sync’s purchase order information between Datum and Manufacturo. When a purchase order and its associated line items are created or updated in Datum, corresponding purchase order and line items records are automatically generated in Manufacturo. Importantly, all key purchasing information, supplier information, and receiving information are pushed from Datum to Manufacturo as well.

After a purchase order is created, any updates made to the purchase order or line items in Datum will automatically push to Manufacturo.

For easier navigation, we recommend including a URL custom field on both Datum and Manufacturo, and our integration will automatically populate these fields with the corresponding purchase order URLs.

  4. Status Updates

Statuses are automatically sync’d between Manufacturo and Datum at both the purchase order level and the line item level, so the purchase order status in Datum is aligned with the receiving status in Manufacturo. This ensures the purchase order in Datum accurately represents a line item’s received status.\

Below is an outline of the corresponding statuses for purchase orders and line items across systems.
