Required Fields

Overview

Required fields can be configured for any custom field that exists on a Request and are visible on any Request with a red asterisk near the field title.

Users will not be able to click "Submit Request" until all required fields have been modified.

How to mark a field as "Required":

Only custom fields that exist on the "Request" can be marked as required. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is an additional use-case for marking other fields as required.

  1. Admin users can configure which fields on a procurement request are required for submission. Start by navigating to "Organization Settings" on the top-navigation and then navigate to "Custom Fields"

  1. Click the edit icon on a given custom field under "Resources" > "Request".

  1. Click "Required" check-box on the edit modal.

  1. Refresh the page & then navigate to a procurement request to see the "Required Field" indicator
